This is by far my favorite of your portraits. You have captured both Mifune and Kurosawa at their best. Lovely moment captued beautifully. :)

Not exactly. The process is gesso - absorbent ground - ink - acrylic spray - water soluble oil paints. The application of water soluble oils (which aren't a particularly versatile or desirable medium) is vaguely similar to watercolor application, but a little more forgiving in some ways.
